| Additional Notes | Aspen groves like this are almost certainly cloned colonies. Reproduction is by root suckers or ramets. Areas accessible to rabbits or sheep show few young ramets. Individual trees are not of great age, however the colony could live indefinitely unless prevented from regenerating by rabbit damage or over grazing. |
